Après un rêve, published in 1848, is one of classical French composer Gabriel Fauré’s most popular songs for solo voice and piano. The text is an inspired translation of an Italian poem adapted into French by Romaine Bussine. (Source: Wikipedia). In this interpretation, the meter is changed from 3/4 to 4/4.
